[Rated PG-13]
A college student must relive the day of her murder over and over again, in a loop that will end only when she discovers her killer's identity. --IMDB
Gore - 1
Even though the kill count on this movie is high, not much detail is shown in any of them. So there isn't much gore at all in this movie. There is really only one "after death" shot. This disappointed me, but it is PG-13, so I guess my expectations should have been lower.
Scariness - 2
This movie is far from scary, but there are a couple scenes that try. They aren't bad, but they definitely won't scare an experienced horror movie watcher.
Creepiness - 1
There's not really much creepiness in the movie. One of the suspects is a little creepy, but not even enough to give me a chill.
Plot - 4
If you enjoy movies like Groundhog Day (1993), then you will enjoy this too. I really enjoy these do-over style movies and this movie does it without being overly repetitive. It also wasn't predictable. They really kept me guessing as to who the killer was the entire time. There were a lot of suspects and successful misdirections right up until the end.
Effects - 3
Because most of the kills in the movie weren't even shown, I gave the effects an average rating. The movie is realistic, but it doesn't take any chances with using effects. They played it safe with the kills.
