A family's serene beach vacation turns to chaos when their doppelgängers appear and begin to terrorize them.--IMDB
I definitely loved this movie, but there is just so much to be evaluated with it. It is unique and probably has several different themes. And even just on the surface, it is still a good movie. There is a good consistent eerie vibe throughout the movie, that builds up to a good revelation at the end. I will say that for experienced horror movie watchers, some elements will be predictable, but for everyone else, you will be shocked. I really liked how there were a lot of good mysterious flashbacks as the storyline was playing out. And the intensity throughout the movie was good as well. Even though I enjoyed the movie at face value, I still had a couple of questions after, so I went and read up on some theories and comments from Jordan Peele (writer) about it after and that made me like the movie even more. It was not a top movie for me, but it certainly kept me thinking for days after watching it and the music was awesome. I am looking forward to more works from Jordan Peele.
