This is hands down one of my favorite slasher movies. I was young when it released, but I remember the feeling of awe and fulfillment I got after watching it the first time. It was a good twisted and refreshing direction in the slasher sub-genre when it first came out. There was a strong focus on the traditional "rules" of slashers and attempting to avoid following them. This made the movie more excited and less predictable. As a first time watcher, they really did an effective job of keeping you guessing the entire movie. Everyone was a suspect. As a repeat watcher, you notice all the signs and clues you probably missed the first time, but it's still a good watch even after you know the conclusion. The acting is amazing and the killer is creepy. The fact that the motive and explanation behind it all was great just added to this movie's overall awesomeness. There aren't many kills, but if you combine the kills with the attempted murders, the count would be much higher. If you have not seen this movie, you really should immediately. If you already have, go watch it again.
