Set in the near-future, technology controls nearly all aspects of life. But when Grey, a self-identified technophobe, has his world turned upside down, his only hope for revenge is an experimental computer chip implant called Stem. --IMDB
Gore - 5
There are quite a few gory kill scenes in this movie, but there is one in particular that I really enjoyed. It really took this gore rating up. The rest of the kills are still gory, but a bit basic.
Scariness - 1
Not scary.
Creepiness - 1
Not creepy.
Plot - 5
There are several different aspects of this movie that I enjoyed. They highlighted a lot of futuristic technology like weapons, security, and even vices that result from it. The fight scenes, especially the first one, were very intense, but fun to watch at the same time. The AI in the movie had funny moments, but not too funny as to lose the serious tone, They also kind of indirectly highlighted both the dangers and benefits or too much and too little technology use. There were a few times when I got annoyed with the carelessness of the main character, but it was not enough to ruin the movie for me. The ending was very bitter-sweet, which isn't a bad thing. If you haven't already seen this movie, you should definitely watch it.
Effects - 5
There is a lot of action and killing in this movie and I would say they did a good job of making both look realistic. The futuristic technology shots are neat too.
