This is a horror comedy of sorts. It's not like a silly/laugh comedy, but it has a humorous tone. Overall, this is a typical camp counselor murder movie. But it is done from a different perspective and with a bit of a twist. I like movies that step outside of the box, so I quite enjoyed this. It reminds me of The Final Girls, so you would probably like this if you liked that. The movie is not told in a chronological or sequential way, so there is a lot of jumping around and you have to piece parts together, but it's not that much brain work because they are mostly just kills. And there are a good number of kills. Most of the kills are just stabbings, but quite a few are different and gory. The CGI was a little off on some, but it wasn't horrible. I wasn't given much of an opportunity to learn enough about the counselors to care if they lived or died, so I was kind of torn on who to root for. And at a certain point, I was wondering how they were going to end the movie to make it not suck, but I will say that I like what they did and how they ended it. Because a different ending could have ruined the entire movie.
