Parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet, as she is drawn back to her ghostly childhood home, where the terror began.--IMDB
Gore - 2
Not a lot of gore, but that's pretty typical in the Insidious movies. The kills are shown, but they are that gory.
Scariness - 4
This installment was not as scary as some of the previous ones has been, but it would still give a typical person a pretty good scare.
Creepiness - 3
Going along with the scariness, there are some pretty creepy parts.
Plot - 4
I am a big fan of the Insidious movies, so they have to be absolutely terrible for me to think they are bad. I won't say this one was as good as some of the others, but it was not even close to bad either. I enjoyed the multiple twists, tie ins to previous movies, and the attempt at a backstory for the main character, Elise. But I did feel like the ending wasn't well thought out. I had a couple unanswered questions at the end too, but it was still a good movie and I would watch it again.
Effects - 5
Good effects and graphics. No complaints there.
